Everybody who visits Seville in August manages to catch a cold, so don't feel bad. Going from air conditioning everywhere at full blast to the undescribable heat outside will wreak havoc even with the strongest disposition.
Well, I can read Arabic letters and understand 'restaurant Arabic', and of course that includes the Arabic for London. Google Translate, used with care, is very helpful.
it's actually been really lovely and bright most of these last days, wonderful sunsets. Dry cold, not as harsh as the damp variety. Winter can be nice ,too. I like seasons. Just put on another jumper.
Wow. I suddenly feel like a whiner after complaining about the whopping 14ºC of today.

ReplyDeleteI'm already wrapped up like an Egyptian mummy and wearing two pairs of gloves. Winter is not my time.
DeleteI'm just trying to gee myself up, mostly. It's the lack or shortness of light that gets me more than the temperature.
