The Little Owl near the Albert Memorial was in another oak tree. I only saw him because he flew into it.
The two Little owlets were out in the chestnut tree.
One of them went off to try to get his father to feed him.
After a couple of minutes of close-range pestering, the father flew off into another tree.
There is a late Starling nest in the shelter on Buck Hill, with both parents still feeding the nestlings long after the others have fledged. Maybe they lost their first brood and have tried again.
Two Reed Warblers were having a song duel in the reed bed near the Diana fountain. Here is one of them.
A young Blue Tit and a young Great Tit appeared in the same tree near the Rudolf Steiner bench.
There is a new brood of Canada goslings in the usual goose nursery near the Lido.
The Black Swan was preening himself near the bridge. His girlfriend was there, now completely white. I only recognised her from the way she barged in when I was giving him a digestive biscuit.
The Mandarin and her teenage duckling were also at the bridge, enjoying a sunny interval.
The Great Crested Grebes were feeding their chick in their usual spot near the island.
This is a Harlequin ladybird larva on the railings near the Italian Garden. The voracious creature approached a beetle, but thought it was too large to eat and left it in peace.
Well, the Girlfriend is consistent and dependably rough, I'll give you that.

She did her best to bite me when I was feeding him. I gave her some bits of biscuit, but on the ground. Her bite is really painful.
