They are always doing something of interest, and even then they aren't, they are irresisitibly pretty.

Wow, a swan/Canada goose hybrid?!I never thought such a thing existed. I hope Ralph gets good pictures!TinĂºvielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04794275230697959519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278510471239667560.post-80409131964353639042018-08-04T20:41:17.204+01:002018-08-04T20:41:17.204+01:00Thanks. They are rare, apparently. If anyone wishes to view the swooze for themselves, it lives at West Green House gardens, which are very pretty in their own right. Good quiche in the tea-room too!Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09683657915069578017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278510471239667560.post-61487140281217977462018-08-04T00:11:30.970+01:002018-08-04T00:11:30.970+01:00It's much the same with other ducks. In most ducks the females have an intricate pattern which male hormones break into blocks of colour.Ralph Hancockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11686354797977020917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278510471239667560.post-36362566297888390402018-08-03T20:07:59.452+01:002018-08-03T20:07:59.452+01:00Interesting how all the little tufties look like s...Interesting how all the little tufties look like small female versions, I guess the males will develop their plumage colourations later on. I wonder how many days old the latest brood ( 12 ) could be.

Jennanoreply@blogger.com
