If it rains I switch to a Pentax 55-300 mm lens, which is waterproof but doesn't have the same reach. I am still getting used to this massive device, and hope to be taking better pictures soon. Previously I was using a Panasonic Lumix FZ200, with a 1.7x teleconverter for long shots. With the teleconverter he zoom would simulate a focal length of about 1000 mm, but the image quality wasn't as good as with the Pentax, of course.Ralph Hancockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11686354797977020917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278510471239667560.post-76861420957606984802015-02-07T08:29:57.462+00:002015-02-07T08:29:57.462+00:00"marked with sinuous or wavy lines" :)"marked with sinuous or wavy lines" :)Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09683657915069578017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278510471239667560.post-42921018681225413442015-02-07T08:28:08.381+00:002015-02-07T08:28:08.381+00:00Indeed. He promptly chose a new mate, so young that her bill was still a bit grey, and they successfully reared seven cygnets in 2014. Nature takes its course.Ralph Hancockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11686354797977020917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8278510471239667560.post-57926058400265848332015-02-06T21:20:21.015+00:002015-02-06T21:20:21.015+00:00What's your view on the foxes Ralph?
