The Wren in the Flower Walk is getting amazing bold. I stood still for a minute and it came out and wandered around my feet.

One of the Grey Wagtails on the Serpentine appeared for the first time this year. Here it is on a stone at the top of the waterfall in the Dell.

They nest under the plank bridge at the bottom of the waterfall. I saw another bird flying out from here, but it was gone before I could identify it.

The male Tawny Owl came out this morning, and was in his usual place.

I was hoping that the warm sunshine would bring out the Little Owl too, but it didn't.

This Jay had been screaming at the Tawny Owl and was still in a bad mood when it came down on to a lower branch.

However, it cheered up when I gave it a peanut.

It is no fun at all being a female Mallard at this time of year.

The drakes were also chasing and attacking each other in a most unbridled way near the Peter Pan statue.

The rabbits on the east side of the Long Water have two litters. Here is one of the younger ones.

It isn't surprising that several foxes have been seen in Kensington Gardens recently. This is bad news for the Mute Swans as well as for the rabbits. Today the male swan was pulling down reeds around their dangerously exposed nest site near the Italian Garden.
